The Location

Byron Bay is ideally located at the easterly most point of Australia and, although a world away from the real world, is easily accessible just off the Pacific Highway, 800kms north of Sydney, 175kms south of Brisbane. Airports are located in Ballina (30mins south) or Coolangatta (60mins north). Backpackers and other travellers enjoy the convenience of buses and trains. Regardless of your travel budget there’s a way in to Byron for everyone.
