Byron Bay Community Markets

Where: Butler Street Reserve (only a 20-minute walk from Byron Bay Beach Houses)

When: The first Sunday of each month

Byron Bay’s Community Markets is considered one of the best in the region.

Spanning across acres of green space, wander through stalls of fresh produce, delicious food, hand-crafted items, unique furniture, plants, sculptures and much more.

Plus, enjoy the cool Byron vibes with great bands playing to keep you going all day long.

Byron Bay Farmer’s Markets

Where: Butler Street Reserve

When: Every Thursday morning from 8-11am

If you’re after fresh produce – just in time for the weekend during your stay – these mid-week markets are for you.

Each week, Byron farmers and growers come together with the region’s best fresh produce on show, including fruits, vegetables, herbs, free-range eggs, plants, fresh meats, sauces, cakes, bread, organic coffee and to top it off, beautiful fresh flowers.

 Tip: It’s best to come early as the goods sell out quickly.

Byron Artisan Markets

Where: Railway Park, Jonson Street

When: Saturday Evenings 5-9pm

If you’re planning your stay at Byron Bay Beach Houses in the coming months, then be sure to stop by on a Saturday evening to the Byron Artisan Markets.

This is a small market showcasing the best local arts and crafts. From an eye-catching tie-dyed creation to beautiful candles, a dream catcher, or an edible treat, the markets are the perfect place to take a little piece of Byron home with you.

Byron Beachside Markets

Where: Foreshore of Main Beach

When: Held three times a year (early January, Easter Saturday and late September)

Held three times a year, the Byron Beachside Markets are a must if you’re in the area. Occupying more than half a kilometre of the Main Beach foreshore, it’s a unique opportunity to witness the culture and vibrancy of Byron Bay.

From sculptures and ceramics to homewares, fashion, craft and toys, you’re bound to find a little gem to take home with you.

Byron Bay’s markets are the perfect early morning activity to start the day off. Pick up a coffee and doughnut and explore some of the local produce and goods Byron has to offer.
